My maiden name is Forsyth and I was born in Soothport in 1959. My father was James Robert Forsyth, sister Elsie and mother Florence (living in Liverpool I recall as a child). I'm not sure if there is a link between my father and the Peter Forsyth you were looking for as I'm only just beginning to trace my family history, but would be very interested to know if you think there is a link.
