Thank you Janet and Len. I suspect that this is the Richard I'm looking for. He was the son of Wm Henry Kaighin and Margaret Corkhill and died Jun quarter 1924 presumably in Scotland where he was last spotted in records. He was a primary school teacher in Collessie, Scotland. Unfortunately he is unmarried in every record I can find him, so I have no mention of Alice if this was him.
