I'm still indexing the Manx Wade's (including WAID's) and came across Charles WAID in the 1871 census who was a boarder aged 17 and born approx 1854 in England.

It was interesting to see the number of scholars at King Williams College and I'm curious that he was there and not in another school due to being born in England?
Was that normally the case?
There is no mention of his parentage as of yet and if someone can quickly tie up a loose end, then I'd appreciate it.
