Is the fact that Robert Clague is buried in the adjacent plot to John d 1834 and Catherine d 1833 ( who I know are my gggg grandparents ) suggestive of a close family tie , do you think ?
What a shame that Robert's wife wasn't named. I do know that the Isabella Cregeen who married a Robert Clague, was widowed between 1841 and 1851. In the 1851 census, she's living in Liverpool with with 2 sons and 2 daughters, plus a John Turnbull, 26 year old nephew who was a son of her sister, Margaret nee Cregeen. They were all born in the IOM.
