Re: Maps: Asylum Plan and Tithe Plan

Thank you for your reply, Nigel.

I am just getting back to these land records after a long gap in my research. At the time I did the original research the films that arrived from Salt Lake City were the Liber Vast films, so that is what I have.

I've tried to relate the Liber Vast information with the index from Woods' Atlas, and from wills, and in some cases that has been successful. In other cases, however, I have not been completely sure of my identification. so my thought was to see if I could relate the entries in Woods' to census information of about the same time.

Another question I have: Is there any place which identifies the various parcels of Intack by name, or identifies the owners of the Intacks at the time the numbers were assigned?

So, the folks I am looking for:

Ann Skillicorn pt Intack 50; #33

Ann Skillicorn pt Intack 52; #50

Ann Skillicorn Cottage 11; # 181 (I think she is Ann Lawson, widow of John Skillicorn)

James Skillicorn pt Intack 148; #17; 3 acres

James Skillicorn pt Intacks 69, 85, 99, 114, 129; # 217; 29 acres

Jane Skillicorn pt Intack 51; #27; 29 acres

Jane Skillicorn pt Intack 53; #88

John Skillicorn pt Intacks 58, 98; #10; 7 acres

John Skillicorn pt Intacks 69, 81, 85, 99, 109, 129; #214t; 44 acres ( think this John and the one below is the son of John Skillicorn and Margaret Kneale)

John Skillicorn Grettest pt Gretch Vane #214t; 7 acres

John Thomas Skillicorn pt Intacks 53, 125; #21; 6 acres
