In 1841 the two Jane Clarks are in Smeal, Andreas, with Jane Martin 55 Farmer b.IOM and Jane Martin's children? aged 15 to 30. (Ages rounded, no relationships given). These look like the children of William Martin & Jane Teare, all b.Andreas, as was Jane Martin bapt 5 June 1807 Andreas. Mother-in-law of John Wade in 1881?

Perhaps Jane Clark was already a widow in 1841? And living with her mother and siblings in Smeal.

In 1851 Jane A Clarke aged 16 is still with her grandmother Jane Martin widow 65 Landed Prop., in Smeal, and her aunt and uncles - all working on the farm except youngest Edward a clock and watchmaker.

Her mother Jane Clark aged 43, marr., is the one (above) in Jurby, and - surprisingly! - with Thomas Clark 46, marr., a farmer of 114 acres b.Jurby, William Martin brother-in-law unm 37, farm lab., b.Andreas, and Catherine Teare 13 house servant b.Andreas.
