I live in Wirral and I am trying to trace the birth/christening record of my G2 grandmother Deborah Curlett. She married John Cassidy in Liverpool in 1826. In the 1861 census she is in Liverpool and gives her place of birth as Isle of Man. Her age is stated as 70, but I think she was in fact 60, judging from her age in the 1841 census and the ages of her children. Her year of birth would therefore be about 1801.
