Public transport on the Island is generally excellent - in November buses only - most parish churches and yards are readily accessible but not Old Marown,Old Lonan or Old Ballaugh (good walks to these), Maughold. Jurby, Andreas + Bride are served by bus from Ramsey, (not all that frequent to Maughold) thus from Douglas will be a long journey as need to change buses at Ramsey (old Manx joke is that those travelling to Ramsey from the south need pack a picnic). Some southern churches might require a short walk from the regular bus route; Patrick is a pleasant 2km walk from Peel (there is a bus but not that frequent) tho the weather in November can be rather unkind.
