My great aunt, Eva Eliza Corlett, was born on 19th October, 1856, in Ramsey, married Israel McFarlane in Manchester in 1877, and died 1923. In 1991 she was living in Broughton, Salford, with six sons! It has proved impossible to trace the family on the 1891 census. I have looked up the address on the complete Lancashire 1891 census CD - and they were not there! Her older sister, Elizabeth Jones, moved back to Castletown, IOM, and died there in 1906, but other siblings, including my great grandfather John James Corlett, stayed in England. Was the census taken on the same night in England and Isle of Man - could they have missed being counted in both places?
Any help would be appreciated.
Janet.
