Re: Creer
In Response To: Creer ()

They are all together in 1881 but by 1891 only George and Emily are with the parents in Castletown.

It appears that John married Elizabeth Thomas 1889 and went into lead mining in Rushen. By 1901 it looks like they are in Norton Derbyshire.

James and George may have joined the navy and lived in Salford. There is a James Creer who married Lillie Brandish in Salford 1901 but may have died 1914 aged 38. Lillie married again to John Howells 1915.

There is a marriage of a George Creer in Salford 1911.

Emily and Eleanor worked together at Scarlett House in 1891 so it may not be coincidence that both names married in Liverpool, Emily to Hugh Daniel Kneale and Eleanor to William Bridson. I wonder if they emigrated ?

You can tell most of this is speculative and gathered from Free BMD , Lancashire BMD, Census and Brian Lawson Indexes but something might register with you.
