I have recently discovered a newspaper article from the Edinburgh Mercury, Nov. 15, 1832 describing an event where four Manx men attempting to assist some ships at risk in the harbour were drowned.
They were, John Lace, Thomas Corlett, Charles Crowe and John Kenyon.
Would there be any articles in the archives of newspapers on the Island still available? If so, how may they be accessed?
