I sent into bmd yesterday for a record of my great grand father john henry cain, as ive been saying on his marriage 1917 he said he was 50 and father robert [ deceased ] a carter,
i cannot find him or robert and its not with out trying the ages and other things dont add up , any way this is what they sent to me today via -e-mail,

I haven’t found a baptism entry in the name of John Henry Cain, father’s name Robert, between the years you stipulated, I did find an entry for 30 March 1855 in Braddan, parents Robert Cain and Margaret Crowe, resident in Strang and father’s occupation a labourer.

,According to his marriage he was age 50 born 1867,
According to his death 1924 he was age 59- born 1865,
on the 1901 census he was with wife [ or so it is now they were not married ] age 39 born 1862,
I am finding all this confusing, does an one know if maybe this could be the ones i am looking for,any help please
