When you want to look at a register, you first look at the microfiche index, which gives you dates and book reference. At £3 per book, it would make sense to organise yourself in case you have more than one entry in the same book. They are quite big and heavy, and you can have a jolly good read for 2-3 hours if you just want to scan through a register and pick up information that may come in handy. I would agree with person who says write the information down, as that is what the registrars copy on to a certificate and charge extra for, obviously with computers, you can design your own certified copy certificate if you want to dress up your file, or keep it as simple as possible. Recommend keeping a note of the book and page number from which you sourced your information.
