Thanks for that – I had found them on the igi - all Malew except Ann [Arbory] but I didn’t have the marriages or the details of Thomas Benjamin’s death. It’s hard to imagine how a nine year old boy could drown in the river (the ‘lake’ maybe) at Silverdale, though isn’t it? It can’t be more than ankle deep anywhere!

Margaret marrying Thomas Corrin explains Margaret H. Corrin granddaughter in the 1881 census, and Sarah’s marriage to John Salthouse explains granddaughter Mary A. Salthouse in 1891.

Can I just ask about James Edward’s wife Lily? I had her as Lily Whitley:
