Sandra, marg and mary,
This is what i cant understand we have searched but nothing shows up,
my mams [ although she was a cain befor marriage to dad ] her mothers side was easy as nana lizzy was from manchester and we got back to late 1700s
But my problems are the cains on both sides,
isabel kindly wrote tree out for me as i was getting confused, but with out knowing if i have the right catherine cain for my dad, i just going with it being her,
There is no death of a catherine cain that fits my grand mother,
the marriages are on the mans name, so i cant see how that will help,
on dads birth cert it does not say if his mother was married.
the records do not say if she left with the baby ,nor does it give a date when she was discharged,
What i do know and is the truth, he was given to james edward crennell about 1926 ,14 Fredrck st, and also i know and have record of him being entered into St thomas school by his guardian { sister of james crennell ] edith,
what i dont know is :did he live with his mother befor, or was he passed another, my dad would not speak of his mother, he used to say she brought me over from australia and dumped me, i was brought up by mungie crennell, and i know i have mentioned names here ,but this is the truth, there are members who know of my dad and there father and aunt but will not help me, i have spoken to two of them, but they wont talk about it, and i am going as far as to say here , that i was e-mailed last year by a member of that family and told , that my father was the B child of his grandfather,
All i want is to find my grandmother and then i will have two grans on my tree,
I know i have told befor i can be banned from board for legal reasons, but i am not bothered i have been told by my late father who brought him up, Any way thanks for trying to help ,,
