Beccy, if you are going to continue to need to look at wills, which most of us do - one leads to another - the best way is to find your closest LDS Family History Centre (under Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the phone book) and order the films to view there, for a small cost. That way you can look for other family members or connections in the same parish, and mentions of your ones in other people's wills as you go through the film.
Brian Lawson's wills index gives the LDS film numbers of the wills, and he asks that you send him transcripts to add to his website, like the others that are there.
Most FHCs have film reader/copiers where you can photocopy the wills for yourself, which is easier than the system at the Manx Museum library - and you will love looking at the films. You will find many other sources through the FHCs which can be ordered to view (parish registers, etc.) and many which are in their permanent collections and freely available.
