Re: John Corlett & Isabel Kneale Lezayre

Thanks Francis.

I should have remembered to take the advice given in recent days on this board, and which I agree with, of continuing earlier threads rather than starting new ones.

On Thursday, 25 October 2007, I posted my first query on this family, where I suggested that the Isabel Corlett of the 1799 will with a grandaughter named Jane Cavendish might have been the Isabel Kneale who had an illegitimate daughter in March 1756. This daughter later married and had several children called Cavendish, including a Jane. This was why I thought the 1758 marriage might be the right one.

I was then hoping to confirm that the children named in the will could be attributed to Isabel Kneale, now Corlett, and to see if I could find a burial, and perhaps will, for John Corlett, weaver.
