I recently read a book about Charles Teare the "Fairy Doctor" who lived at Ballawhane Andreas. My ancestor was his brother Thomas who lived at East Ballabane. I know Charles lived in a cottage at Ballawhane but did the farm belong to him? The book confused me a little and I couldn't work out if the owner was him or perhaps relatives of his.
