Walter Leece, born 1874 was an apprentice joiner on the 1891 census.
On the 1901 census he is shown as "lost both arms in accident".
He seems to have died aged 53 in 1927, Station Road, St. Johns.
Were such accidents reported in newspapers, and are archives available on-line?
