Hi - Members of this forum helped me a while ago on the Ronan tree (Kirk Rushen) and I am now in touch with living rels on I of M.

One relative has had a copy of Marjergy Ronan's will - listed in Manx Notebook as:

1794 A 42 RowNON Marjery gdau (niece xd thru) esther shimmin;dau molley rownon;son thomas exec;witt margery cowley als higgin,margt harrison;

She has mislaid it but remembers one of the things left was a handkerchief. I am doing this for a friend (a living
Ron(n)an in Lancs and would like to obtain a copy of the full will to give to him as a Xmas present.

Could you advise me where it is held and whether I can approach them for a photocopy (for a small fee??).

Many thanks. Once I have all this tree verified, I will pass it on to the I of M gen. soc as it involves a stray...his offspring have been found as far as Ontario.
