I presume they were but the 1851 census indicates that the family at 8 Fancy St headed by Danl + mary McLaraney (not that easy to decipher) were all born in Ireland - however there are a number of Roman Catholic bapts to Dan McCLEANANY (+ similar) + mary O'Reilly (or similar) of which only Edward bapt 1845 agrees with census entry
