I have had heaps of help from Jim Smith re the Lace family. Now it is our turn to visit the Island and maybe get a few photos and hopefully tie up a few loose ends. We will be there sometime in the first week of December. Do I need to make and appointment at the family history centre? Unfortunately, I had no response re the Misses Lace who ran the boarding house in Douglas -- Windsor House, it was known as in the early 1900's. Would love to see if that building is still there -- anyway won't be long now and getting very excited. Thanks Jim, will send you a card.
