In 1841 census there is a William Goldsmith & wife
living at Ballakesh Bride. Only farms are named , most
other residences can be assumed to be small cottages. They had 3 farm labourers & a female servant.
By 1851 he is listed as farmer of 100 acres with
2 labourers/ & I think 2 servants as well as a nurse.
As there are no children resident I think you can
assume he or his wife is infirm due to age. The house
may still exist as a traditional farmhouse. ??????
