I found this memorial card deep in my father´s papers - I have not yet determined where she fits in my Caine line but thought it might be of interest to other researchers:

Edith Cecilia,
Eldest Daughter of John and Mary A. Caine
Who departed this life on Monday, July 7th, 1884,
Aged 13 years;

Her remains will be removed from 13, Rosemount, Douglas, for interment in Onchan Churchyard,
on Wednesday, July 9th, at 11 o`clock.
