After I had posted this I decided to take another look at Brian Lawsons site and to confuse matters even further there is a Will for Margaret Christian nee Callow that mentions all the same names as I have as the siblings of Jane Christian b1843. I know this is the right family as in William Lawsons Will (husband of Jane nee Christian) it mentions Janes Fathers as being Thomas and a brother in law, surname Hampton, husband of Janes sister Margaret. Margaret Christians Will also mentions same Margaret and Thomas Hampton! So, is the IGI entry wrong for Thomas marrying Ann Cown or did he marry twice? Twice doesnt seem logical given the marriage dates. I need to look further into this but meanwhile if anyone else had investigated same lines would love to hear from you.
