Wow! Have you come up with a theory. The only thing I would question is that in the 1871c where Ann Kelly is shown as a 'Widow' if she is not the childrens mother wouldn't the children be shown as 'step daughter/son'?

It is a road to go down and investigate further for sure and that is what I will do - when I return from my holiday in a couple of weeks time.

John, thank you for posting this information, it certainly gives food for thought. I have printed everything off to be studied further.
