Lace, Dyson, and Clarke

My great-grandmother, Mary Alice Dyson, and her sister, Mabel Dyson, married Manxmen. Mary Alice Dyson married Thomas Edward Clarke, son of James Clarke and Catherine Radcliffe. Thomas E. Clarke and his wife and children sailed for America in 1902. I can’t find a trace of him after 1910. My great-grandmother is with another man in the 1910 U. S. Census. The family story goes that Thomas Clarke returned to England.

Mabel Dyson married William Thomas Lace, born about 1873 in Douglas. I believe he was the son of John and Jane Lace. William and Mabel sailed for America in 1904. I have found the burial place of William Thomas Lace. He died on 17 April 1934 and is buried in the Santa Barbara Cemetery in California. Just thought this little bit of information might be useful to someone.
