I would like to voice my support for this too. I'm assuming people who publish their private email addresses - and that can be very helpful to other researchers - know what they are doing and the risks they are taking. But I would be devasted if someone published mine: it's not just the spam to be avoided, there are, unfortunately, unpleasant people out there, unconnected with this site, who are looking for the opportunity to make a nuisance of themselves with malicious and abusive messages, once they discover your address.
