Hi Liz thanks for your offer of help my fathers side which is Gilmours i will give u dates. I am trying to get further back, my GGG Grandfather
was William Gilmor born not known, year not known, married to a Margaret Mickleby 23/06/1810 parish of Malew. I have marriage certificate but it doesnt give fathers name. Also i have Williams & Margarets childrens bapt dates all except for 1 child which was Thomas born 1818, this date i got from Thomas Gilmore & Esther Quine born 1818, Marriage certificate. Other 2 children of William Gilmor & Margaret Mickleby were Robert bapt 09/10/1825 Santon I.O.Man. & John bapt 30/01/1832 Santon, I.O.Man. With Thomas i sent to Isle of man registry office they couldnt find bapt cert, said that he mite not have been born in the Isle of man, or he wasnt bapt at all. Help much appreciated Ann Fox.
