methodist travelling preachers are often a pain to track as they moved from circuit to circuit every 2 to 3 years; Primitive Methodists are much more difficult than for Wesleyan ministers for the latter there was a regularly updated book - Hill's arrangements - that lists all the circuits a preacher had been stationed at.
