A lot of my relations have Pearson as a middle name, I cannot find the link. It was first used by Harry Pearson Cubbin born in New York in 1885, his father was Thomas Robert Cubbin and mother Lillian Black. I feel that it could be Lillian's mothers maiden name but cannot find a record. Since then about 5 male sons have had Pearson as their middle name, in the States the first born, my uncle in the UK was given Pearson as well. Help please.
