there are NO birth certificates on Island until 1877/8 (apart from a very very few voluntary registrations and as St Barnabas was the church of many of Douglas's poor you are unlikely to find one) - check 1871 and see if you can match parents + child - you may then be lucky in finding another child's baptism that gives mother's full name.
