Ray - I was speaking to three older ladies at church
this morning who bought their smart hats at Manxonia Douglas . All knew MISS Curphey that was
the way then. More recently there was Manxonia
Port St Mary [ obviously the same firm- ] the shop
was in Beach House , Bay View Road . [ Now Thornley
the advocates-. ] On the subject of the hotel - I
have thought of The Point near the harbour & along
from the golf links- now also apartments of same
name.
