Hugh Smith and Elizabeth Wallace

Would anyone be able to find a marriage for me? Hugh SMITH married Elizabeth WALLACE on the Isle of Man in May 1852. They arrived as assisted passengers at Point Henry, Geelong, Victoria, Australia from Liverpool aboard the "James T Foord" on 22 December 1852. The passenger list gives their religion as Presbyterian. Hugh was apparently a shepherd. Hugh was born c. 1828 in Campbeltown, Argyllshire, Scotland and Elizabeth was born c. 1829 in Carluke, Lanarkshire, Scotland. What they were doing in Isle of Man is a mystery, except it is geographically between Campbeltown and Liverpool. I cannot identify either of them in the 1841 or 1851 censuses of Isle of Man and their marriage does not appear in the IGI. My guess is they were probably married in the Presbyterian Kirk in Douglas on their way to Liverpool. The ship departed Liverpool 17 September 1852, some four months after their marriage. I hope someone can help.
