I've been doing well with my research, but today looked up IOM census 1861 for John Crowe born 1819. In occupations column for John, son, 20...looks like Cordwainer. Can anyone tell me what the word means, or if I've misread it? I also wonder if all daughters were married in their home parishes. Thanks.
