I have some old letters that were in my great grandmother, Margaret Lords bible. She was born in 1895 in Aberdeen to William Lord and Agnes Smith. William was one of 5 children born to Thomas Lord and Margaret Davidson. Thomas was the son of Thomas Lord and Elanor Quayle (or Helen Will as it seems to have been "tidied up" in some records. I'm not sure who or how the letters work in with this history, but thought they may prove to be of some interest?! I will type them up as they are including typos! And a few at a time as the writing gets a bit sore on the eyes.
