Joseph Edward Cretney (b 9 Oct 1880 in IOM) in 1881 Census: age 6m living @ Ballavitchel Rd Marown.
In 1910 he emmigrated from Liverpool to Montreal Canada age 29.
In USA 1920 census he was listed as follows:
Joseph E Cretney Living at Highland Park, Wayne, Michigan born 1883 in England White Boarder Accountant.
He was listed as Marrying in Ontario as follows:
Joseph Edward Cretney born abt 1883 married 28-Jul-22 to Amelia Mary Lamberton in Essex County. Mother's name E A Leece Cretney.
I have no record of his death assumed in Windsor Ontario.
Your 3*G.Grandfather Robert Cretney b1747 is the youngest brother of my 4*G. Grandfather James Cretney b 1743 who is ninth child of John C (b 1696) & Abigail Gell.
