Thanks, Len. That Henry Teare is a good idea to be the origin of the label "Harry" given to his descendants. But "Cath: Tear als Crenilt" was buried in Andreas Oct 7 1675, so couldn't have been the widow in 1714.
This gives them plenty of time to have had children, but I haven't yet found any.
John d.1727 should have been one of them.
That burial you found doesn't give the name of the child. It just has "pox A Son of Widow Teare Harry 30 March" [1714]. So certainly the same family.
Perhaps the widow was the mother of "John Tear (Harry)" who died 26 August 1727 [decree]? - Lost in those years of missing Andreas registers 1686-1704. I think it likely that Henry remarried and died during those missing years, and the widow was his second wife?
