Hmm, not sure about that.

There were 4 children of a CofE father and RC mother who were baptised on the same day at St Mary's RC church in 1910, the youngest of these being born only a few weeks before. There was apparently effective family opposition to their being baptised Catholics up to this point. The eldest had been baptised first at St Matthew's in 1905, her birth year, and I'm looking for the first baptisms of the next two, in 1906 and 1908. I have anecdotal evidence of the infant baptism of the 1908 child, but not of the location.

Do you think going to the Methodists might be a compromise too far for a determined Catholic?
