I have just heard of a claim that the name Corjeag has in the past sometimes been changed to Kaneen. Constance Radcliffe was quoted as a reference but I haven't had that confirmed. I am of course aware of the Corjeag/Cavendish connection but I've never come across this idea before.
Has anyone else heard of a Corjeag/Kaneen connection?
