I would be very interested in knowing more about this line of the Looney family. My great grandmother, Ella Kaneen (b.12/2/1873 in Buffalo,NY) was the daughter of Elizabeth Looney and Alexander Kaneen. Family lore said that she and my great grandfather (William Sayle) were related somehow. I had a notion it might be this branch of the Looney family.
