Re: Cashin's emigrating to Newfoundland?

Hi Rob,
saw your listing just by chance and had to respond; a relative of mine, who unfortunately is not with us now, wrote a book about the Cashin family with help from my father and other Manx relatives. The book is entitled 'Cashin of Patrick', Patrick being the parish in which the cashins lived since they arrived on the Isle of Man from Irelend in the 15th Century. My side of the family moved from Dalby (small village in Patrick) to Peel (just up the road) in 1870. I was doing some other research and looked up your 'Patrick Cashin' but unfortunately there was no mention of him, good luck in your search.

John.
