who departed this life about the 14th of Nov anno supradict
Impres she in perfect mind and memory comitted her soul to God and her
body to christian burial.
Item she left and bequeathed to her son Wm Cain who is in the West
Indies, if he come to receive the same the sum of twenty shillings.
Item she left to her son John Cain a ewe and to his sons two lambs.
Item to her daughter in law Jane Cain als Lace her best mant and
petticoat with her best shoes and stockings.
Item to her sister Jony Cain a green apron, a lac'd kerchief, pair of shoes
and sockings.
To her said sister's daughter her best red petticoat, four quoifs and a kerchief.
To Alice Croghan a riding hood.
Item she left to her husband Danl Cain her part of the best horse and a weather to the witnesses
Lastly she nominated and appointed her son James Cain sole executor of
all the rest of her goods and effects moveable and immoveable whatsoever.

KK Michael departed this life about the 17th of Jan Anno Dom 1750 being
of perfect mind and memory the making hereof.
First he committd this soul to God and body to Christian burial.
Item he left and bequeathed to his eldest son John his best cloathes and
likewise his big coat.
Item to his son Daniel his second best suit of cloathes and his -----
equally betwixt his said two sons.
Item to his two daughter Margt and Jane forty shillings each and to his
Mary thirty shilling.
Item to his son Daniel twenty shillings.
Item to his son Philip his part of the meadow purchased by his wife and
her former husband together with ten shillings and a sheep and two pewter

Item his wife he left his part of the sheep which they have with Caine
Shileagues Sheep together with some Coloured yarn which was in the house
Item to his daughter some other yarn which was designed for cloathing
them which his wife consented to give them her part of the same in
consideration whereof he left his said wife his part of the bed upon
which he lay.

!ARTICLES OF AGREEMENT: KK MICHAEL 1739:
John Cain Junior of BallaNaa in the abovesaid parish having with the
consent and approbation of his parents, been lately maried to Jane Lace.
The grand father John Cain Senior and the father and mother Daniel Cain
and Margaret Cain als. McBoy have this day 10th the said young couple,
come to to these articles of Articles of Agreement as follows vizt:
IMPRES: The said John Caine Senior and the said Daniel Cain and
Margaret Caine als. McBoy do hereby settle upon the said young couple in
present possession, as Inheritance hence forward. The one half of all
their lands and houses whatsoever. Reserving to the said Daniel and
Margaret or the longer liver of them, the other half of the said lands and
houses; which other half of the premises is after their death as
aforesaid to descend to the said young couple and their heirs in the
nature of Inheritance for ever.
Secondly The said Daniel and Margaret Cain do give to the young couple
in present possession the one half of the crop of corn and hay, a third
part of the team and half of all the husbandry gears, to be possessed and
enjoyed after the death of the longer liver of the said Daniel or Margaret
his wife.
Thirdly The said John Cain junior and his wife Jane Caine als Lace do
hereby bind and oblige themselves to be biding and assisting with the
said Daniel and Margaret iln the maintenance and decent support of the
old man with all necessarys as occasion shall require, during his
natural life.
Fourthly and Lastly for the true and faithful performance of all and
signular these Articles of Agreement all parties concerned have bound
themselves in the penalty of forfeiture of forty pounds according to
law. As witness their several subscriptions this 8th day of October
1729.
