Re: kneen connundrum
In Response To: Re: kneen connundrum ()

Thanks one and all.
Brian - Elizabeth Kneen was the daughter of Thomas Kneen of Andreas and Elizabeth Quayle from Jurby. I think they were married 1798. Not sure if that is any help in finding a connection or not?
It was tied up I believe because Elizabeth Kneen was buried with her daughter Mary Ann hannay [nee Bridson] at Braddan. But if anyone has MI's for Braddan could they confirm that for me please? I'm not sure what happened to James Bridson as I can't find an MI for him or confirmation of his death. This is all very familiar with my family.
I wonder were there 2 James Bridsons both married to an 'Elizabeth'. And is that why it is difficult to ascertain which is which. The Elizabeth Ann was b at St Matthews whereas the other siblings were at St Barnabus. I wonder if the Margaret and John F Bridson belonged to the 'other' James and Elizabeth.
Back to the drawing board. But thanks once again for all assistance. Viv
