Ewan arrived in New Plymouth on board the Halcion on or about the 5th of September 1875. At this stage there is a gap. I know he did farm at Oakura near New Plymouth. On his death in 1923 he is listed as a farmer from Eltham. He is buried in New Plymouth. My grandfather Alexander was his son. Evan was also a son who died in 19-18.
