Hello Kay. Sorry for not responding earlier. I've only just seen this, as I was away for 3 weeks.
Yes, I think Jane should be added to the list of children of Matthias CALLOW and Margaret GELLING. She will be the 2nd child, between Ann b 1821 and John b 1826. She is age 15 in the 1841 census with her parents; I don't know why I missed her.
I'm researching her as I write this note.
Jane CALLOW married in the last quarter of 1843 (not 1850) to Simpson LLOYD and they appear at 6 Harford Lane, Liverpool, in 1851 with son John 4, son Simpson 8 mos, nephew James LLOYD U 27 (Boot Maker b IOM) and sister in law Ellen CALLOW U 14 Nurse. Ellen is the ancestor of Linda Weaver, and we hadn't found her on the 1851 census until now.
By 1861 they had added 2 more children James 5 and Mathew 2 in addition to John 15 and Simon 11. The name "Simpson" had changed to "Simon" for both father and son. I think "Mathew" should be "Matthias".
After that, I can't find Simpson & Jane so perhaps they died between 1861 and 1871. I found son Simpson age 19 in the Royal Navy in 1871 but didn't find him again. Eldest son John shows up in all census's. He became a boot and shoe finisher, and married Catherine Cowle PROFFIT in 1870 in Stafford. They remained there and had 9 children appearing on the census's.
I did find a birth in 1848 and a death in 1850 for a Matthias LLOYD and also a death in 1866 of a Matthias LLOYD age 9, all in Liverpool District which seem likely to fit.
There is a Simpson LLOYD on the IGI born 13 Sep and baptized 3 Oct 1806 at Whitehaven, son of John & Sarah LLOYD.
I hope this helps.
