My Great grandparents Thomas Bell and Elizabeth (n Kennaugh) arrived in New Zealand sometime in the 1870's from Liverpool. Their respective parents - Thomas Bell and Eleanor (n Crellin) and Thomas Kennaugh and Jane (n Christian) were resident in German. I have fixes on that from baptismal records and the 1851 census. Beyond that, things get a little hazy. If anyone out there has any research that includes these lines I would be grateful for assistance.
