Betty, it's difficult to tell exactly when my Jane was born. Her sister Margaret Clark was my gt. gt. gt. g'ma.

In 1841 Jane gave her age as 45 so she would have been born in 1796.
In 1851 she gave her age as 60 so she would have been born in 1791.
In 1861 she gave her age as 72 so she would have been born in 1789.
She is listed as having died at age 73 so she would have been born in 1790.

In 1841 she lived with a Patrick CORRAN, as well as her widowed sister Margaret CLARK in German.
In 1851 she lived with her sister in German.
In 1861 she lived on her own in Ballalis Cottage on the farm of John, 61, and Ann, 60, KISSACK in German.

I don't know who her parents or other siblings were. I'm going to take a look at the IGI & will let you know if I find anything significant.
