I was replying to the original post shown below.... THAT John Sansbury and Ann, with those family members, were my GG grandparents..... I think you have the wrong John Sansbury...... there was another of that name born exactly 3 months later in Rushen....

BTW, I think Lillian has John's parent's names wrong, I believe (but not 100% sure) that his father was Richard.

I have traced my husband's family back to John Sansbury who was born about 1815. He married Anne Shimmin at Kirk Rushen 19th April 1842 according to IGI. Their children were Jane, William, Margaret, Edward (my husband's grandfather). Mary Ann, Thomas, John Thomas and Walter Ellison. I think it is possible that John Sansbury's parents were John Sansbury and Jane Crebbin but have no proof of this as yet. Does anyone have any knowledge of this family?
