I've just seen your 2001 posting (re Kermode)and hope you are still keeping an eye on this site, because I believe that you are my long-lost nephew.

Your grandfather, George Gorry, was my father and your grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Gorry nee Foster, was my mum. Your father, George Kermode Gorry, was my elder brother who married your mum, Irena Bendig.

I've made the same posting under the Kermode heading as a belt and braces thing.
